An Insight into the purpose of Existence

Why do we exist?

Do human beings exist just to go to school, look for a job, work, pay bills, and die? Or is there a grander scheme of things?

Is the Universe a big coincidence or is there a purpose… is there a meaning to it all?

The search for meaning is a most prominent and quite controversial topic in the world.

Every individual who is a seeker of truth will have their own individual perspective on the search for the meaning of life.

Some believe there is no meaning. Others say that lacking meaning is actually a good thing so that we can attach whatever meaning we want.

Others say that the stories we tell ourselves about the meaning of life are only that… stories, and to assume that we could ever know for sure would be erroneous.

I believe that each of these viewpoints is valid in its own right. For every Soul is on its own unique path, and by virtue of the complexity of the Universe, every perspective of truth is worthy and deserving of exploration.

In this article, I will provide my perspective on the purpose of Existence, or in other words, the meaning of life.

And here goes that.

There is no individual life. There are no individual people. The world doesn't have 7.7 billion people living in it.

There is only one person. There is only One Life that lives.

There is only One Consciousness in 7.7 billion instruments of its expression, or vessels of its being.

This life is Source, Spirit, or God, and it has and does differentiate itself into countless points of its consciousness so that it can view itself.

So that it can look at, see, investigate, and explore itself.

So that it can gradually (through evolution) figure out exactly what it is.

The existence of the Universe is a journey of Oneself expressing and differentiating itself so that it can experience itself, and know who, or what it is.

And thereafter expand in its knowledge of SELF, and not just knowledge, in becoming too, or REALIZATION of its Infinity.

Religionists and Scientists appear to agree that the Universe will at some point cease to exist. Religionists call it doomsday, and scientists may use terms such as the big rip amongst others.

But from a spiritual standpoint, I beg to differ.

THE UNIVERSE WILL NEVER END. It will expand forever.

Why?

The reason the Universe will never cease to expand is because the Universe is not what is expanding. What scientists call the Observable (and therefore measurable) Universe is not what is expanding at all.

It is Spirit that is expanding. Expanding in knowledge (of Self), AND realization.

It is Consciousness or Source that is expanding in the background, and that expansion/growth only seems apparent in the accelerating separation between galaxies.

And the reason it will never stop expanding is because Spirit is UTTERLY WITHOUT END.

Consciousness always has been, and always will be, EXPANDING INTO INFINITY.

And that is my reason why Existence will never cease.

THE UNIVERSE WILL NEVER END is a bold statement 😉, but I believe it had to be made.

All Life (the One Life) will evolve throughout endless infinities.
