Spencer Byrd Superintendent an Educator and Principal

Spencer Byrd Superintendent, 51 years old, believes in the power of relationships. As a young student, he took the advice of a caring teacher who believed in him and encouraged him to go to college. That experience left an indelible impact on Byrd, who went on to become a coach, educator, principal and administrator. He uses his empathy and understanding to encourage students and educators alike. Without good relationships between teachers and students, Byrd believes education becomes much more difficult.
