7 Hidden Winter Fashion Trends 2023

We never expect winter to be the most fashionable of seasons. Other than New Year’s and holiday looks, it can be hard not to fall into a pattern of simply dressing up in the same dark-wash jeans and grey sweaters day in and day out. But this year we are settled on adding a little extra feel to our cold-season looks with the following winter fashion trends 2023, and thanks to the fashion data gurus, now we know exactly where to start.

1. Always Leather:

Leather pants, leather jackets, leather dresses, leather shirts-leather designs in just about every profile are majorly trending heading into 2023. Whether you prefer the tidy look of straight-leg leather trousers or want to blend things up with a trendier motocross jacket, you basically can’t go wrong when it comes to choosing how to welcome this trend. Only one piece of advice: Opt for only just one leather item per outfit rather than stacking it all at once. We know, there are a few celebs who wrap themselves in a whole-body leather look, but it’s an extremely tricky balance and all too often just winds up looking like a costume.

Yes, the classic and simple ballet flat is back, but the 2023 varieties are not the delicate, juvenile styles popular in the early aughts. This time, however, the look seems much more refined than before, with the morning-after smudged eye makeup and torn fishnet tights being swapped by sharp winged eyeliner and spiked up-dos.
