There was some good writing done this month

Spring is here and I have the blooms in my garden to prove it. I see some people still talking about snow and we’ve had some unusually cold weather here too, except that it can be 60 degrees in the morning and 90 by noon around here.

I think I wrote some decent articles in April, although the last few days of the month I began to struggle with some mental health issues again. It’s a funk that I come out of but it sucks while I’m in it and my writing is just not as good as it could be otherwise.

April brought the first ever story that was both my favorite and a reader favorite. Hopefully I can pull that off again some time. I had wanted to play around with the idea of becoming hell itself and it resulted in this essay. As I continue working on my memoir, I hope the writing ends up drawing people in like this did.

I wrote an article about lust, but not your typical definition of lust. I’ve had a lot of sex, but it’s mostly been transactional in nature. Despite being asexual, I know quite a bit about lust, because some lust isn’t about sex.
