Books have always been our best friends. How? Books share knowledge of fictional and non-fictional world. The author lets you step into their shoes of the main character and see the world through their eyes. Thus, it is rightly said that ‘A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies.’

Every great personality that we know, any field, is what they are because of reading books. Think about it this way, every time there is a censorship, books are banned, or according to the dystopian world of Ray Bradbury in ‘Fahrenheit 451', they are burned. Can you imagine how important books are for gaining information.

It is true that visual media technology is taking over the print media. Statistically, there is a decline in reading habits of people. This is because televisions and computer games require less efforts for imagination. Inculcating the habit of reading in younger generation is very important. According to the book, ‘Atomic Habits’ by ‘James Clear’, by taking small steps, like asking children to read one page a day, would help them achieve the habit of reading in the long run, that is, one book every week.

So, I would like to appeal all the readers to take a step and devote some part of your day for reading.

Well, you’ll find loads of recommendations on my Instagram page, @anveshathebibliophile. But here I am trying to recommend some of the novels that I believe are beginner friendly.

There are many more recommendations, But I’d rather make a separate blog for that. What do you think? Let me know in the comments or you can DM me! You will definitely get my reply :)
